Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for December 07, 1971
Transcript:
Mike: How'd the congress go today? Mark: Not so well. The delegate from N.Y.U. introduced some great resolutions on Vietnam, but the conservative delegates kept voting them down. Initially, it was resolved that we recommended immediate withdrawal. Then it got down to the ol' setting a date business. Then it became resolved that we just disapproved of the war...it became vaguer and vaguer. Mike: What'd you finally resove? Mark: "War is bad."
