Mike: How about this spot, Zonk? Zonker: No, I don't think so, Mike. Mike: Why not? Zonker: Too many memories... Mike: So how's retirement suiting you, Zonk? Zonker: About as well as can be expected, I guess...The hardest part is just facing the truth, accepting the fact that tanning is a young man's sport. Sooner or later you have to make way for the new generation. Mike: You don't hink you could still be competitive, Zonk? Zonker: Are you kidding? Listen, let me tell you a story, Mike. A few days ago, I was walking along the boardwalk, just reminiscing and enjoying an ice cream. Suddenly, I spotted this group of kids working on their tans. They were clearly amateurs, so I thought, heck, I'll give them a thrill. I"ll go over and give thema few pointers...so I walked over to their lead tannist and introduced myself. The guy just looked up blankly over his shades and said, "Can I help you, pops?" Mike: "Pops"? Zonker: The truth hit me like a freight train.
