Dick Davenport: By gum, we had some swell times! Lacey: I know we did, sweet man. Why do you think I bring you back so much? Dick Davenport: ...and then twig had a fit! Do you remember, Lacey? Lacey: Like it was yesterday, dear heart! Jeremy Cavendish: Mrs. D.? Lacey: Uh...yes? Jeremy Cavendish: Mrs. D., I wonder if I might have a word... when I first offered to take care of you, I saw it as a golden opportunity to renew my courtship of you...I guess I thought that constant proximity would do the trick, that over time, you'd find me less annoying. That was my dream, anyhow. But it hasn't worked out that way. Instead of growing closer, you totally ignore me! You spend all your time talking with a homeless woman and your late husband Dick! Dick Davenport: Well, excuse me, Mr. Alive-and-kicking! Lacey: I'll handle this, Dick. Who are you, dear man? Are you here to read the meter?
