…and she went back. I guess that is one dark skinned person with whom she wasn’t uncomfortable.

Contradict much?
Seriously though, this guy’s acting like a left-wing “journalist”: he’s accepting the author’s claims as fact instead of doing any fact-checking of his own.
Thankfully, the world of Doonesbury has little to do with the real world.

Can’t wait until Roland gets to this part, probably tomorrow. Bet Sarah “Purple” Palin was Levi Johnson’s mom’s connection.
Throw snowballs, don’t snort em.

Fiction meets reality — And loses.

Just like the right wing press saying Obama is a Muslim or he was born in Kenya.

I don’t like this storyline. Roland has a book he isn’t even supposed to have and I feel like he isn’t even going to be punished it for it.

All of these revelations about Sarah Palin seem to boil down to this: she’s human. That means that she’s less than perfectly consistent in her values and ideas, and occasionally indulges in impulsive behavior that would be awkward to make public. So are we all…at best..I’m a not a fan of hers, but it’s no more reasonable to demonize her for being imperfect than it is for her admirers to think that she is.

Sure beats her icky Hawaiian experience.
Potrzebie about 13 years ago
How come no college boyfriends have surfaced? She did get around.

Get a life people, it’s a comic strip!

Yes, I got a big kick out of this story and the salcious nature of it. But when you get down to brass tacks, this sister was very young, smokin’ hot, and free to make the choices that suited her. Like all of us, she should be allowed the room to live and grow past her prior conduct [if perceived to be wrong or inadvisable] and the corresponding freedom to mature over the course of some 25 years. I am not the person at 51 that I was at 27 in 1987. Neither is she.

I understand why you cons think this book is just a hatchet job, after-all that’s what the GOP specializes in.

You forgot to add: “or until the going gets tough and I quit, just like when I was governor!”

Does she prefer the flavor of New Coke or Coke Classic?

Generally speaking, conservatives attack liberal ideas, which liberals interpret as being personal attacks.
Generally speaking, liberals attack conservative people without ever bringing up conservative ideas.
See the difference?
However, liberals do occasionally attack ideas that they incorrectly attribute to conservatives, such as wanting people to die of illness and starvation.

Does anyone notice a resemblance to Chuck Tood in one of the characters drawn in the strip today and yesterday?

Thanks a lot. I am now officially quaking in my shoes (sorry, no boots today).Hmmm, if we convince the media to ignore ALL the publicity-hungry candidates, they’ll fade into oblivion? Darn. Forgot about paid political ads. The media moguls are already drooling at the thought of all that lovely revenue.Sigh. TURN OFF the tube, then!

leftwing patriot said,
“Was it liberals who were cheering at the GOP debate when the issue of letting an uninsured individual die came up?”
No, those were idiots.
FriscoLou said,
“Yo Randy, was it Liberals who said Obama’s a Kenyan and not one of us?”
No, those were idiots. He didn’t grow up in the United States, though. He grew up in Indonesia, which perhaps partially explains why he stated that he wants to fundamentally transform our nation.
But you’re not going to use isolated specific cases to refute a general statement, are you?
Why is it that when Muslims murder their daughters, innocent Israelis, and thousand of innocent Americans we must be carefully reminded not to conflate a “tiny minority” of terrorists with Muslims in general, but when there’s a minority of conservatives that are idiots it’s acceptable to conflate them with conservatives in general?

Shame on the Chicago Tribune editor for his Puritan attitude! Every paper in America published ‘Doonesbury’ this week, BUT them!

This book will shine a light on her incredible hypocrisy. There seem to be only two kinds of people who flaunt religion – hypocrites and fanatics.
