At least they didn’t say, old and fat, unwed mother.

Or, how about, but he’s so much younger than you!

Or Tossers if you are british.

“Tosser!” . . . I like the sound of that!This strip calls to mind: back when I was working, I was interested in doll collecting and creating, and would bring a doll magazine to read while I had lunch at PoFolks. When I brought my husband along one night, some of the waitresses were swooning with delight, to see that I wasn’t just an old maid sitting alone with her doll magazines.

After I retired, I tried my hand at doll design and creating, and was bored out of my gourd! I much prefer reading GoComics and pontificating to you guys.

Now it’s so fashionable to be an unwed mother…

They might be liberals but they are not the ancestors of hipsters. Less than 2 years after this strip was published, they would be called yuppies.

Today’s version of hipsters!! Set phasers to KILL!

Well isn’t that judgmental. I mean nice. Isn’t that nice.
