Calling all marketing majors, how would you promo Z+Z Bud? For example: You are in a San Francisco bar ( they are all gay). There is a disgusting, fat, filthy, repulsive slob at the end of the bar to whom you are strangely attracted. How do you get past all of the aforementioned red flags? Answer: take ten or twenty hits of pure gay heaven, Z+Z Bud! While doing so, Mr. Avoid morphs into Rock Hudson!
It is an amazing time. A few things seem to be headed in the right direction. Pot is legal in some states. There are still federal issues with it though. Another example of why the states can’t always be the answer in terms of setting things right. Those who sell pot can’t take their profits to a bank. How is that supposed to work? And yes, gays have the right to marry. But, there are still places like Kansas where someone can be fired from a job for being gay. Still, it is moving forward. These are more positive things to think about than police brutality, refugees, air pollution and skinny polar bears, women having their rights to self-determination through reproductive rights being taken away, etc. And, it looks like GT has moved away (for now), from the Trump train. However, I am afraid the Trump train is just getting started. I didn’t think it would continue but we will see. Trump better cultivate some rich friendships in Iowa, they don’t have a lot of 5 star hotels there. Trump has some fairly different views from a lot of the GOP. Some of them are much more liberal than the traditional Republican but I am not sure they are listening to a lot of his mumblings.
They are marketing it like cigarettes were marketed. Remember the thin cigarettes that were marketed for women, There were thin ones marketed for men, also. If I were a betting man, I would bet that they were actually the same, with different packaging.
Since Zonker never ages, even though Mark, Mike, and the rest of the gang do (often at accelerated rates!), just perhaps he’s keeping his artisanal Fountain of Youth Pot all to himself…….
1. Trump admitted at a certain point that Planned Parenthood does help women, they don’t only do abortions, (not that I consider it terrible that they offer the choice), but he claims that it is, while at the same time, he did admit that they offer other services.2. Trump did admit that if we did not have the Affordable Care Act, that we would have had to have something along those lines. He did not endorse the ACA, but he did say that other countries have universal health care and that it works for them. These 2 statements are miles away from any other GOP candidate, and I am sure that I am missing some others. I am no Trump fan, but I am just stating what I have heard from the horse’s mouth and I do find it interesting.
Trump said that legalizing pot is a bad idea to Sean Hannity at CPAC. He also said that the Colorado pot laws have a lot of problems. He said that his views on gay marriage are “evolving” but he favors traditional marriage.
The fallacy of the concept of political correctness is that it is only liberals who engage in political correctness. Conservatives can engage in political correctness just as much, and their language can be just as strident. Cons continually use the term pro-life, when they are actually anti-abortion, rather than pro-life. Typically, they support the death penalty, all the while saying they are pro-life.
I have not seen any real policy plans coming from Trump. He engages in insults and personal attacks and broad statements of bragging about himself, and he is given a pass for doing this because some people seem to want to bow to him because he is rich. Being rich doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to govern. I don’t think it should be considered correlated. It does seem ironic that some think Trump is for the common man, when he does not really seem to promote that in his life and the way he does business. However, I know that many politicians have been sympathetic to the middle class who were certainly not middle class themselves.
GOP has some trumped up charges against the clintons. Yawn. What’s new? They aren’t bothering sanders since they know he doesn’t have a prayer in general election. Hillary is a different story.

Since limited medical marijuana was approved in Florida, I imagine we will see some ads soon, then. Interesting…

Now if the Feds would agree to actually not hassle those who do… The Pres. has the bully pulpit, but the bureaucracy lumbers on.

Apart from just cramming together these two aspects of these two characters, I fail to see the point of this strip.

Am I the only one who remembers that they were aiming for the gay market all along and are pretending to be gay themselves for that purpose?

ZZ Top might file a trademark claim against Z&Z Pot.

I wouldn’t think ZZ Top would mind the reference to ZZ pot in Doonesbury. It is not like this is a forum for a GOP candidate here.

deceptive advertising, the pot was straight (in it’s own way) and you don’t have to get high to come off the down low.
