Ralph: Oh, man! My feet are killing me! Your mom bought e a new air of shoes last week, and they feel too small! Norman: You've been walking around for a week in shoes that are too small?! Why don't you take them back?? Ralph: According to the label, they're the right size! I was hoping they'd stretch out! Norman: I think I see the problem, dad... When you get new shoes, you're supposed to remove the wadded-up paper! Ralph: Oh yeah, huh!

I hate to admit it, but this happened to me on my wedding day. When I tried them on the week before, I took the paper out.On the day of our wedding a lot was going on and I had ended up spending the morning in the ER. Came home and hastily changed. My wife-to-be tossed the shoes in my direction and I hurriedly put them on. I did not know she put the paper back in after I tried them on.All day I kept complaining my feet hurt and the shoes must not be broken in yet.Later when we got to our hotel room, I kicked them off and discovered the paper stuffed in the toes.

We laugh at this family, but I know a gentleman who is Ralph’s twin. Thank goodness he didn’t have children!!

This actually happened to my husband. We purchased a new pair of sneakers for him to wear at the beach. He put them on, said they were too small and gave them to one of our sons who discovered the wadded up paper in the shoe. It is a family laugh-in now, among many other things he has done in the past. My husband is a laugh in himself!!
