Oooo — a Rockefeller, who knew…

His anniversary shopping may be done, but his doctor’s visits for his soon-to-be ailing back (from sleeping on the couch for weeks, if not months on end) are just beginning…

Wonder if there’s one that says “Echo”?

Right! We saw Kevin Fagan at a book signing a few years ago, and I believe I remember him commenting on the fact that “Honeybunch” was otherwise nameless.

maybe his anniversary is in June!

maybe the joke will be that he doesn’t even know his wife’s first name.

Every time I see one of those keychain displays, I look for one with the name “Josephine.” Haven’t found one yet. Not even “Josie.” The closest I’ve seen is “José,” but that wouldn’t go over well.

Neither Josephine (which happens to have been my mom’s name, and her nickname was “Josie”) nor June, are common names.

if i bought my wife a key chain for her anniversary, believe me, there had BETTER be a vehicle to go with it…or a HEAD will roll !!!!!!

Actually, Dry, June used to be a very common girl’s name.

Honeybunch has a first name!!!! Who knew?!

I dunno but the bio on Drabble at the right of the toon tells us that June is, "the Drabble matriarch best known as “Honeybunch.”"Maybe it’s just my screen . . . anyway, Ralph is Ruthless . . . ☻

Usually, June is just a shortening of Juanita. When I was growing up, our neighbor was named Juanita and she went by June.

More than she deserves………

So, I feel like it’s only in the last week of this comic that Honeybunch was given the name June, and suddenly we are hearing it every other strip?And in the month of June?
