Santa: Remember that go-cart I brought you back in '73? Ralph: Yeah, that was my favorite gift ever! Santa: Well, I need to get back to work! It's nice to visit with you every Christmas eve, Ralph! Ralph: Same here, Santa! It's good to know some things never change! Chirp chirp! Santa: Dang, it's the wife! How does she expect me to text in mittens? Ralph: I guess some things have changed!

They market mittens/gloves that leave your thumbs free for the specific purpose of texting. SIGH.

I sent my first EVER text this morning to my lover (while I spend a few days at daughter’s house). I only bought a mobile phone for this trip; back home I just use Skype.
