The whole reason for gym class used to be so that potential military recruits had some physical ed – not so much now. Those of us that graduated HS in the early 70s knew that and would not play sports or the like for that reason. If Uncle Sam wanted us to go to Nam, he was going to have a chore getting us in shape…..
