I have a grandson with the same traits…..and he is 14.

Dacshunds..They bark at 3 AM, for no discernable reason, get into the trash and eat the foam meat trays, somehow get up on the table and eat a pound of Sees Candy, eat the mail when it comes through the Slot, bark ALL THE TIME…and between trips to the vet, she was the sweetest dog I ever had.

Maybe she should try a rolled-up newspaper.

Then one day they slow down. They can’t understand it, but you know. Very sad.
