I’m from Texas, and disappointed that we did not win, but I am really proud of the Cards who exemplified the never-give-up attitude. They deserve the accolades!

Sometimes in sports you just see how a team just rises to the occasion, and they just aren’t going to lose. I got the same feeling about the 1982-83 NC State Wolfpack team. They HAD to win their conference tournament to even make the NCAA tournament, and I just went with them. I felt the same way about the Cards this time around.
