Unfortunately, very true. As long as the parents act like idiots and get into shouting matches, fights, demeaning the umpire, the children will assume that it is ok to do the same thing. I have heard of coaches in T-ball, midget football, soccer, and other sports who have been fired or quit because they weren’t “tough” enough on the kids. Absolutely shameful.
