If clothing expenses are work related, keep the sales and cleaning receipts. Used clothing is not deductible, but from your consumption rate, I would recommend Goodwill or DAV for noncritical appearance apparel.
It would be funnier if it were Bruce Banner sitting there being queried about the excessive expenses for new pants. If you’re asking the Hulk, isn’t the explanation obvious?
