Okay, folks.. The very first Holly & Wally t-shirt is now available for sale.. I’ll change this design out for a new one in about two weeks, so act now!http://www.cafepress.com/endtownMeanwhile, original art and mini-comics are still available for sale.. Contact me at aaronneathery@gmail.com for details.
PS: I’m keeping tabs on the various shirt requests and I’ll do my best..
Uh oh! So much for the gun! Their terms of negotiation with Flask just became a little less even (well, maybe they might think it’s more even, being unaware that Flask herself is well-armed now).
But at the same time, if Wally has to sacrifice either Holly or his gun, of course Holly will win. Great reflexes on Wally’s part.
And methinks they might strangle Marx when they get back inside…
Those spinning blades meant death in spades for Holly, had he missed There does indeed seem urgent need for Petey to assist But Aaron Marx has taken larks just walking on the air Now that he knows where this door goes, he could just help out there It seemed to me that he could be just faking being clueless They weren’t a threat to Aaron yet he his crew almost was two less Is he malicious? Does he wish they’d die and leave his vessel? And does he ken that Flask has been more deadly than that missile? =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum
It’ll be interesting to see how that was the door to the bridge. Maybe it’s nearby and only approachable from the outside, if Flask is watching the inside door. There’s the truth, and then there’s the trickster’s truth.
Gotta wonder where the “Do Not Open While Blades Are Spinning” sign went to. I’m thinking that they’re right next to the kitchen, and that this is how the chef disposes of the garbage.
Hey guys, we still voting out there? We’ve been sliding for the last week and are down to #52. We were as low as 32 from what I saw.Aaaah, the prop and a long fall! Reel her in Wally, reel her in! Just be careful with the tail!!
Aha – string theory!Aaron Marx did say that the interior of the ship loops back on itself and goes on forever. You can’t try to predict the layout with logic. the laws of space don’t seem to work here. So, a door into mid-air is just a door into mid-air. It’s not an inspection port, and it’s not a premeditated trap on Marx’s doing. Even he can’t find his way around. Flask is going to find that once she starts trying to make the ship do something it doesn’t want to do, things won’t all go her way.
Hello everyone. I have been reading along with everyone for a long time now but have never spoken. I just wanted to say that this comic is one of the best! I vote every day. The comments are just as good! It took me awhile to read through from the beginning because I read the comments as well. I feel as if I know you guys. You are all a part of this comic now. I hope I can contribute something to this little fun family. Mr. Neathery, thank you for creating a wonderful, if kind of sad, world for us. You are a master at art and story telling. Thank the rest of you for adding great flavor to this comic to make it even better. I can’t wait till next time!
WHat kind of Door is That?!:??People usually Don’t get sucked out when opening a door. It’s like some kind of vacuum seal or something. I hope Aaron Marx is good hearted enough to pull them back in! this was a big suprize I didn’t have time to read yesterday. He was sure wrong about the door.
Sorry — I couldn’t vote for 5 days (on a trip with no internet access). But … .Endtown bookplates in my mail when I picked up from the post office. Thanks, Aaron! They are elegant! — Silhouettes of Al & Gustine!
The prop, yes! I see it now. It is the arc in both panels 3 & 4. There is a slight sheen in panel 3 to indicate the whirling. And the straight line in panel 4 is the horizon. Excellent drawing, Aaron!
I agree. I don’t think that Marx is at all malicious. He’s just trying to maintain the illusion of control. Flask, on the other hand, was quite malicious, and when her illusion of control was shattered, she became quite dangerous. We’ll see what happens.
Also a long time reader here, just never commented, wanted to say this is easily my favorite webcomic, and I read a lot. Keep up the good work. also, cannot wait for my Holly & Wally shirt to arrive =)
The blaster was issued by Flask before their excursion to the wastelands to deal with the rocket. It was the propeller blades that demolished the gun when he dropped it to grab Holly’s tail.
Welcome to Kailer darke too! When will the books be shipping out? I want a T-shirt too! Will they be ready before the books?
This is the best cartoon! I never have figured out the vote yet. When entering the site, it says to vote for one of those 2 cartoons in the picture in order to enter. I got the idea you only get 1 vote. So if it has to be one of those unknown comics to enter the site… or am I even on the right page??
Has anyone else noticed that the door for the bedroom Wally and Holly were in was probably the same door for the dining room? Or, rather it would be if both rooms had windows on the walls next to the doors. This implies that either the back of the ship is at least 2 floors tall and the two rooms are on separate floors, or that there’s one room and the dittos are used to change the decor as needed. Either way, it’s possible that Marx has everything he needs in one place and hasn’t done much exploring beyond the main deck.

The air ship must be some type of transformer.

What’s the gun splattering against? A wall of dittos?

Oops! Think he had to sign for that gun. Mallard might take it out of his beans, if they ever get back.

At least Wally has his priorities straight. In his current situation, grabbing a little tail is the best thing to do.

Also, I’m certain Holly is thankful for Wally’s “cat-like” reflexes. He certainly saved her “tail” on that one. ;) (Ok, sorry about the puns.)
