Don’t want to be too bleak, but 7 billion people and growing their food consumption, waste production, pollution, needs for natural resources are unsustainable regardless if you make cars that get 80 mpg, and better light bulbs. Tryi finding a stream within 5 miles that you would drink from.

Yes, and unfortunately, he chose to govern as if consensus and listening to alternate viewpoints still mattered – a mistake we can be sure Republicans won’t make if they take back the White House and Congress.Unfortunately, consensus only works if your opponents aren’t intractably obstructionist.

Hmmm… reasoned dialog – go figure.Well, its like I’ve always said, a pox on both their houses. Its kind of been like a huge democrat\republican conspiracy for the last 50 years now. I’ve no idea how America can snap out of it and I fear for my grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Troops are coming home and going right into Afghanistan, unemployment is still hovering close to 10%, millions have been without work for over two years {Obama’s term in office}, and still people blame Obama’s failing on Bush. Can’t wait when in eight years, people will be saying "President {name yet unknown}, is doing the best he can after what Bush did.
