Twig says, "Just this..." Twig says, "Absolutely only prune in the early spring." Agatha says ,"November: Very early spring."

Don’t worry, they die back some overwinter and it is necessary to prune them again in the spring.

I had rabbits “prune” my roses down to almost nothing, the next year they grew back.
