He probably goes around singing: “I’ve got the power”.

And yet they still feel powerless.

What did he invent first, the Bill or the Power.

For those who haven’t yet “benefitted” from the break-up of the electric power monopolies here’s what the new companies do:

They buy electric capacity from the same power plants the original company used, and have the original company deliver it to you (with a separate delivery charge), then they bill you for the electricity. They produce nothing, deliver nothing, then bill you. (I stayed with the old company, so there is just one bill).

And, I have the power to raise rates without your consent.

Two bear skins a month ! won’t stand for it !
