I gave up gardening when I started teaching because everything got ripe about the same time school started and I didn’t have the energy to can and freeze my crops. I always thought I’d get back to it when I retired. I never realized my body would no longer be up to the challenge.
isn’t this why there are raised garden beds?? i personally don’t garden, for i can’t tell a weed from a plant, but really want to garden….is this weird??

Love the handles, makes them easier to get up from. Even use one in the house.

I grow my tomatoes on 8 foot wire frames and this time of year I’m using a step ladder to pick some of the high tomatoes

Perhaps she needs a small hydraulic lift—with handles, of course. About a foot would probably put her high enough to stand.
