April: Guess what, Liz! We get to have our hair done up with little white flowers. Elizabeth: Oh, yeah? April: Mrs. Sobinski sent us a picture of how we should look. Elizabeth: Sausage curls? Ewww! Nobody wears sausage curls!! Mom, this is so 60's!! Elly: Don't fuss about your hair. The stylist will put it up, and you'll look just fine. April: How are you gonna wear your hair? Elly: I was going to have it done in sausage curls.

It’s just simple ringlets. My mother did my hair in that style when I was a little girl. Made me look like Shirley Temple. :P
