Elly: Cleaning out a freezer is interesting, John. It's like an archeological dig. I found the block of moose meat that Fred Whipple gave us in 1992... remember? Here's applesauce from our trip to Collingwood in '96, turkey from last Christmas, a banana loaf we got at the '98 craft fair. The farther down I went, the more I discovered! John: Elly... why do you keep this stuff?!! Elly: Well! You don't throw away good food!!

Some of this food is at least ten years old in FBorFW time…isn’t it expired?

a) I prefer upright freezers b) if she has 20 year old pork gravy, she would need more than 1 freezer to avoid “throwing away good food”. She’ll end up throwing almost all of it away anyway. Freezer burn. The color, flavor and texture deteriorates.
