Elizabeth: It's good to be home again. April's sure different. She's wearing all the "in" clothes an' checking out guys... have you noticed how grey Dad's hair is? He told me he's getting arthritis. Mom wears her glasses most of the time, now - and she says she gets tired very early. They've aged so much, Michael. Michael: Nothing stays the same, Liz - everyone's getting old! Elizabeth: I don't mind everyone getting older... just not THEM!!

I’m at that age to my kids. I do state that no matter what…in life we all ‘age’.

Last panel: Very true. It was always other people getting older. It was a bit of a shock, to me, when it happened to my mom. Now, years later, it’s happening to me.

You know, several years ago Elly said the same thing about her parents aging. Maybe that’s the point.
