I know I’m known for playing Devil’s Advocate with this series, but I’m going to play it again. I just don’t like how Deanna’s Mom and Dad are portrayed here. Especially Mira. It’s like Mira is made to be the worst mother-in-law ever and everything she does, Mike and Deanna don’t like and I know that it’s supposed to be about the Pattersons, but if Mira and Willfred (I hope I spelled that right) are going to have their moments, but why not Elly and John. It’s not right to say that Elly and John are the perfect set of parents. The type that doesn’t come over when the kids need a night alone, the ones to entrust their secrets too, the ones to ask money from without fault, the ones who gets to do more fun things with the grandbabies. They are not perfect. Nobody is.
