It takes a while for a caesarean section to heal, and everyone has to adjust to having a new baby in the house...especially Meredith. She still thinks she's the baby! So your Mom has taken some time off work to clean and cook, rock and sing until things are a bit more settled. April: Oh. I think Mom puts the "grand" in "grandma"!

It’s just clicked the difference between the two women. Elly is a (grand)mother, but Mira wants to be the controlling matriarch.
