Poor Farley.

Ellie took Farley’s food because Lizzie was eating it. Poor Farley.

Oh, I hope Elly realizes what she did soon!

Let the kid eat on the floor and put the dog in the high chair. Then they’ll both be happy.

This is just too cute. Having three basset hounds I can attest to it’s accuracy.

Farley looks devastated and like he could use a good ear rub right about now … but then again, he MAY just bite the hand the rubs him …

I love the silhouette in panel 3.

Farley’s wondering,”Now what did I do?”

Poor Farley thinks he’s being punished and he did nothing wrong. She ought to go in there and pet him and show him he’s not in trouble. It may still be hard for him to understand.

Discipline the child, not the dog. Lizzie will never learn to stay out of the dog’s food if Ellie just puts it out of reach. Not fair to poor Farley.

Uh-oh! It was good thing that Elly caught Lizzie in the act playing with the dog dish/food immediately. Poor Farley, he could not have his dog food to eat in his dish inside that closet. sheesh! LOLs!

doctortoon says: Two words: Baby Gate. That’s right! I agree with you! lols! John and Elly should buy the baby gate and put it between the wall of cabinet and the wall so Lizzie will not play the dog food in the dog dish. Or they should put the dog dish with dog food in the garage.

Tried to eat a dog biscuit as a young child, if I remember correctly … bleech!! I also bit the ear on my cousins hunting dog.. Pepper took one look at me and left the room, did not snap at me or even make a sound. She was some dog!!

I don’t get it.

She put the dog’s food in the pantry to keep Elizabeth out of it…..unfortunately, it’s keeping the dog out of it, too!
