Simultaneously belly dancing and creative cooking in the kitchen? This I gotta see!

Seriously. I normally get a chuckle out of the fact that John’s somewhat clueless (if not downright ignorant), but even I had to roll my eyes at THIS latest remark of his. In fact, I think I rolled them so hard, they may not roll back into normal position for a week!

Go on, Elly. Smack him with that brochure. I know I want you to!

actually, belly dancing is excellent exercise…not to mention that it takes a LOT of muscle control and stamina.

Didn’t we just see something like this a couple weeks ago where he suggested she take a cooking course? Now he’s added belly dancing, something else real “useful”? I wish he’d take a course in communications, maybe a class on men are from mars and women from venus, something like that.

My wife loves belly dancing and salsa dancing.

Maybe pole dancing?

Ellie does the everyday cooking; John should take up the gourmet cooking. That’s what I do.

And John, you should have suggested belly dancing before two kids. Or at least let Ellie want this for herself.

Actually the creative writing would be excellent.

lightenup if you have a low tolerance for mean people, you sure don’t show it that often! I think my own tolerance level in that department is pretty low, and I have a lot of trouble hiding it sometimes, even though I really should try harder. Mean people usually don’t care that much, and all it does is stress ME out if I let it get to me! Oh well! :o)

OpenWings – you sound just like me, but I’m learning to ignore the usual meanies. I have pissed off Louiseitis before and he/she left all sorts of bitter comments about me, which burned me up. When that happens, I just stick to reading the nice commenters or don’t post until I’m ready to join the ruckus again. I will be sure and always read yours now… :-)

woracle, couches can be surprisingly comfy. I cant sleep well with my GF, although to be fair, my beds a single.

summerdog, I think she messed up, since in the earlier strip Elly said she was too late for the creative writing class, but the strip needs to go on, she’s actually taking the class.

DO they really do belly dancing at night school? LOL! Also, whats wrong with creative writing? I would TOTALLY take something like that!

Just occurred to me that a month or two back John was complaining about her cooking ‘fancy’ food – today he’s suggesting she study gourmet cooking. Make up your mind, mate!
