It would make more sense if he bought lighter colored underwear for the pants he had on, than to buy whole new pants. Cheaper, too.

Being the practical person that I am, I would buy the underwear and change in the men’s room and not talk about it.

John is such a jerk.

I believe there is a mistake in the coloring of the 3 panels before the last panel. John has a pair of undershorts in his hand. They should have been light, not dark. He bought undershorts, not pants. The next 2 panels should have colored the pants light, they were the same pants.

Why not just pull his sweater down to cover his package?
