Gee, ignoring someone when they need to talk and then wanting sex doesn’t instantly put them “in the mood”?? Really??

Let me see if I have this right. She will spend a lot of time worrying about relations with her friends, but her husband, not so much. Interesting priorities.

Interesting, the comments from the guys are all on John’s side and the comments from the gals are all on Ellie’s side.Be it ever thus………….

I’m female, and I agreed with the guy’s side of things.

If he had been talking with her, I’d be fine with his side, but as MiHorn says above, if you’ve been speaking and your husband shows disregard by ignoring you and after that insult, then wants sex, you wouldn’t be in the mood, would you? I would guess our reactions to the scene show where the weaknesses have been in our relationships. Do we feel that people are disregarding us and then asking for things from us, or that our needs are too far down the priorities list? Both are valid feelings and both hurt. As can marriage.

Kinda like my ex-wife. And pretty much why she’s my EX-wife.

It’s a joke based on the “Soup Nazi” in an episode of “Seinfeld.” If it’s an appropriate analogy for soup, I don’t see why it’s inappropriate here.
