Hell hath no fury like a teenage feamale having hormone swings.

Elizabeth is becoming more and more like her mother—even in facial expressions and big mouths!!

    Hopefully, she’ll outgrow that.

Okay. She’s in a snit. Logic isn’t going to do anything but focus her anger on you, there Mike. Sooooo, keep poking. Let’s see what happens.

Interesting to see Mike finally being portrayed as the more mature sibling, as befits both of their ages at the moment.

Michael, you better be careful, you don’t understand how teenage female hormones work. If you’re not careful you might make Elizabeth do something that will end up on the 6 o-clock news.

Slow down, Elizabeth, and patch things up with Dawn.

They could double date but i don’t think Dawn has a boyfriend yet.

Your priorities need refocusing, Elizabeth. Dawn got an 83% and you only got a 65%. It is grades that matter when looking at college. It is college that matters if you don’t want to end up in poverty.

I JUST EXPLAINED THIS YESTERDAY! One can ABSOLUTELY have a designated “boyfriend” AND a “best friend!” EVERYONE I KNOW besides me HAS THAT!

I don’t understand why so many people find romance to be more inherently valuable than friendship

Michael could spend time with the others and form a band. It could be Michael as a construction worker, Brian as an Indian, Gordon as a sailor and Lawrence as a leather clad biker. Canada has never seen anything like that. They could make Canadian songs such as

    *"Milquetoast Man"

*"Go East", and of course, their dedication to the Yarborough Mobile Campgrounds…

    *…“YMC, Eh!!”

Now Michael is retconning. He has never spent time with Lawrence’s boyfriend and never invited Lawrence or Brian (the one who is not dating) to an outing that included Rhetta. What he really means is that he and Gordon and Rhetta went to watch Tracey play volleyball, which they did last October. We readers have never seen the type of interaction Michael is talking about, so he is retconning both for Elizabeth and us readers.
