Peter: Hold the ball so I can practice placekicking. Jason: What angle should I hold it at? 45 degrees? 60 degrees? Peter: Sixty's about right. Jason: Actually, mind if I use radians? I'm more comfortable with those. Peter: Whatever. Jason: Ok, ?/3 radians. Be right back. Peter: Where are you going?! Jason: To get a protractor. Paige: I thought you were playing with Peter. Jason: Oh, I AM. Trust me.

Careful, Jason - Peter may punt your radian out of sheer frustration.
Edit:: Yes, I know, Gweedo, but I was so tired last night when I wrote the above that I was doing well to remember my own name.

Okay… this has to be stupider than Lucy van Pelt pulling the ball away from Charlie Brown.
How much is π/3 anyway? I never learned that kind of geomentry before. I just know that 90° is a right angle, less than 90° is an acute, more than 90° is an obtuse, 180° is a straight line and 360° is a complete circle.

pi radians equals 180 degrees. So pi/3 would be sixty degrees. Radians are a more “natural” angle measure than degrees, which are more convenient for everyday angle measurement. 180 degrees is a semicircle, not a straight line, although I do understand what you are saying.

I’m actually more comfortable with degrees, myself.
