Peter: What are you doing?
Paige: Dad talked me into plyaing chess with him tonight.
Peter: If you do that, you'll lose in six moves.
Paige: See? I told you I was rusty. I used to be able to get out of these games in four moves.
Be careful Paige. Lose too quickly and Dad will want to play again. Or worse, want to TEACH you how to play better. Then you’ll be stuck there all night.

Peter could tell she’ll lose in 6 moves? Pete isn’t such a puttz after all!

Of course Paige would much rather talk on the phone for hours on end with her friends then play chess or even do homework for that matter.

Considering you can’t actually place your king in check, forcing a loss in 4 moves is kind of impressive in a reverse-chess kind of way.

Surely you chess.
No I don’t. And don’t call me Shirley.
