Marcus: Yours, now keep going.
Maybe 25 years ago the strip featured many digits of pi—the kid was helping sis with her math, if I recall. I checked, and maybe 75 digits were accurate. I clipped the strip out of the newspaper and put it in my Bible. I memorized the number during boring parts of the sermons. I have since been excommunicated.

I considered making a comment but why bother, it’s irrational.

Hmm, yes, rf_eq. I was going to say ‘Oh brother. Poor attempt at nerd football.’

pi to the 189th digit – not bad. However, last digit is incorrect – no 4, but a 8followed by more:

That would be a good call to draw the defense off-side for a penalty!

Maybe it would be easier for him to just recite the square root of 2.

I only know 3.14159 by heart. But I heard that a couple of brothers found that there were over 1 billion numbers for pi.
Bargrove about 13 years ago
In Indiana the state government made a law that Pi was to be 3.1416 and that was it. This was a while back, and I think the law faded away.

Definitely accurate out to 125 digits, which is as far as I have it memorized.
