If Peter is not an actual good baseball player, what makes him think he’s a good football — or any sport — player?

I’m a tad lost here – Why is it such a horrifying idea that Peter might make the football team? Has it been established that he’s that terrible a player?

You can tell this is a comic. In real life the coach would have a little “talk” with the history teacher and tell him that he would be history, if he pushed it.

Now all Peter has to do is pass his history test.
