(Rex Morgan) I am new at Rex Morgan, but have picked up that Berna works for Dr. Rex. Is that ticket still in Berna’s purse? I wonder where/how they collect the prize. Toonopedia and Wikipeda say that LuAnn, Margo, and Tommie live in the Manhattan apartment. So where is Tommie and who is Iris?
Florchi, The Phantom has been a great story. Chatu is an evil man who is the Phantom’s enemy. He almost killed the Phantom, but he managed to survive. The Phantom came upon Chatu again, and he was dieing of a jungle fever. The Phantom got some tribal medicine that cured him, Chatu was much less than grateful. In prison, there is a blind man in the cell next to Chatu’s. He has visions, and was able to sculpt the head of Diana, the Phantom’s wife. Chatu arranged a dastardly plot that involved blowing up the building were Diana worked, making it appear that she had been killed, along with many others. Chatu had had her kidnapped, and thrown into a Rhodian prison, under a different name. She was to spend the rest of her days there, with the Phantom thinking that she was dead. She managed to escape one night, and got to a phone in someone’s house, and phoned her Mother in NYC. But her mom thought it was someone playing a cruel trick. She called again, with the same result. The homeowners awoke, and turned her in. The Phantom was in NYC, stayed at his MIL’s home, and heard about the call when he arrived back home.
Savarna is the captain of the India Voyager. She hunts pirates. The Phantom had hired her to help him and his chidren move some creatures to a safer place in the ocean. Sarvarna developed a huge crush on the Phantom, and was disappointed to learn that he was married. After Diana was presumed dead, Savarna was in NYC visiting some relatives. She ran into The Phantom, and he told her about the phone call. She convinced him to check into it, so they sailed to Rhodia on her ship. They researched newspaper articles, and found the one telling about the escaped woman prisoner, and her using someone’s phone. he decides to check into it, and calls upon the old couple to learn what he can. He decides to break into Gravelines prison, and see for himself if the woman prisoner is Diana. He asks Savarna to take her ship out to sea, and wait. Afeter several LONG weeks, he finds that it is Diana, and he escapes with her, aided by Savarna, who shells the prison from her ship. The Phantom takes Diana, who is terribly thin, to Keela Wee, where they spent their honeymoon.
