(Judge Parker) Yes. I think Connie has in mind to show the wealthy Judge more than just a secret staircase.
(Mark Trail) What mountains? Where does he start looking? The mountains cover a lot of territory.
(Alley Oop) OL is playing to Oscar’s weakness. Oscar has a serious problem with greed and OL knows that he’s the type who will willingly compromise his ethics to chase after wealth.
Oop has never been there. Earth 2 in this story is an hypothetical planet that exists in the same orbit as the planet Earth, but 180 degrees away, directly on the other side of the sun where it can’t be seen. That’s why this story is so silly. (1) The millionaires are willing to pour so much money into something they don’t even know exists and (2) Astronomers say that the odds of such a planet existing are extremely low. None of the other planets in the solar system have a sister planet, so it stands to reason that Earth doesn’t either.

(MW) Yea, Drew has heard that line before- he probably
has used it himself on his other one nite stands :-)

to me. I’ve always had wine and mingled ,during the ten or fifthteen mins.
Liza seems to be moving things along, maybe too quickly for Drew. Looking forward to Mark’s trip to the mountains and seeing where Chatu is imprisoned.
david, not only do the astronomers say the odds of a sister planet are low because of the fact that none of the other planets have one, but every planet and moon in this solar system has a gravitational effect on every other one, and the current configuration accounts for all known bodies. If there was another planet in our orbit, the whole configuration of our solar system would be different.

JP - I don’t think this is intermission. I believe they just arrived and if they explore the secret staircase, will they ever see the play? Or will they encounter something dark and mysterious?
