I had a doctor ask me if I’d had the “Salk” or “Sabin” polio vaccine. I said “I dunno… Pink stuff on a sugar cube, if that tells you anything.” He didn’t answer, but checked a box and moved onto the next question. So I agree with Frank, but there are still issues.

The Covid-19 Blues is stalking the land. Who would want his/her name associated with it? The vaccine that cures it? Sure.

If they stopped naming diseases after people, people would stop looking for new diseases and then there would be no need for new cures.

What was the name of that guy who discovered that old people forget things?

They should name the disease after the politician in office when discovered.
More people will line up for vaccinations to prevent the spread or recurrence.
