I had a grandmother who, I SWEAR, shopped with this kind of logic! Also an aunt. And mother. And my OWN credit card debt, until I spent enough time in “my own space” to get my own head out of my own tushie! (We were doing our capitalistic, American duty? Yeah, that defense makes about as much sense as what it’s defending, I know.)
