Caulfield: Here's how it would work: *Brrrrrrrt* You have a call from Johnson in his car. Meaning he cared more about staying amused during his down time than whatever you might have been doing when he called. Frazz: Nice change-up! I was expecting you to go with the safety of anyone else on the road. Caulfield: Oh, like that's going to deter those guys.

Or those GALS… I see more women in traffic on the phone and texting than men and usually when they just missed causing an accident!

they should have a law of whoever get caught texting while driving, spend 30 days in jail, $1000 fine, and suspension of license.

I was behind a small car with four teenage girls recently – all four – including the driver were talking on their phones. Exactly why do they bother to get together?

Spot on!! Hopefully someone useful will think of a new kind of radar gun. And forget speed traps….

I don’t think that was the main reason really. They started out being used by truckers to replace CB so if they had a break down they could get help. I still remember 15-20 years ago when my mom got trapped in traffic because a big rig couldn’t get up an ice covered hill so they closed the whole road (in the Deep South, NO snow equipment) and she called from a trucker’s cab so we wouldn’t worry that she wasn’t getting home. Then 5 or 6 years later she got one of those bricks for the drive herself. It was “portable” but it never left the car except to be charged.

The number one cause of food-related accidents (i.e. accidents caused by eating while driving): soup or chili.

And everybody misses that the characters are a blonde version of Greg Heffley’s mom and a grown up Rodrick from Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
