Mrs. Olsen: School gets out; I tackle Gabriela out of the way of a moron on his phone backing up his car. Break my arm. I don't want sympathy. I don't want credit. I just want to have my usual garage sale, which I can't with this arm. Gabriela has an idea; I sell my 40-year stash of gift mugs. Curiously, more of them than I started with. I'm glad I only ASSIGN that "what I did this Summer" essay. Caulfield: I'll ghost-write it for 10% of the movie rights.

40 years? I am glad that no one I know looks like that at 62, which is what she would be if she taught straight through from age 22…
I suspect she took time off for nursing her husband.
At least the discrepancy in the number of mugs was explained.
My best teacher was a harda—, too, but she was also fair and honest with us, and just an incredible teacher. Fifty years later I am still grateful to Mrs. Trull.

Night-Gaunt49: Probably, but hardly certain. Elderly dark hair is genetic. I, my father, and my mother-in-law had white hair in their 60s, but my mother and wife’s aunt were still dark at 103, and another of her aunts was at 109. Gray mixed in it, but predominately dark, as is my wife at 75 and counting.

I had a friend with dark brown, almost black hair, she started going gray at 14. It was really noticeable when we were outside for gym class. I had another friend who went bald at 23, forget bad hair day, he had NO HAIR days.
