Caulfield: Sorry I'm late. My cat had a "gift" for me. Mrs. Olsen: Ugh. Fine, Caulfield. Take your seat. Frazz: The fur on your shirt says that "gift" was a half-hour cuddle. Caulfield: It's not my job to see that Mrs. Olsen listens critically.

My cat loves being held.

It is hard to deal with a cat on your lap, refusing to move and wanting attention. Particularly if you’re me. (I’ve always liked cats, but I’m very allergic to them)

A beautiful little lynx point siamese I recently adopted HATES to be held and scratches me if I pet her anywhere except on her head. She cuddles next to me at night, and lashes out if I move in my sleep and touch her tail or feet. I am wondering if this is the reason her owner of 5 years dumped her at the shelter!! But she is mine for life, I am very tolerant.

<<<This little critter has dumped enough excess fur to weave several floor sized rugs. It’s not easy being owned by a cat.

My mom’s current tenant has grown so fond of affection that she won’t even let you feed her until after she’s gotten a good petting.

My cat sees the shoes go on and the tv go off and he has a fit. He’s like nooo don’t go to work!

trying to get ready to go to my parent’s house for Mother’s day one year, I’m the only one without kids, and I go to put my saddles on to find my cat threw up in one. I call my parents to explain that I’ll be late because Charlie is sick. My mom’s response. “happy mother’s day.” I think she liked that better than the card I got her.

That’s my story and I’m sticking with it!

People have tried to argue with him before, and even suggested possible solutions to his complaints (Don’t bother reading it, Post his comments in the Pearls section) and he always ignores it. Face it, he just wants a fight. I suggest everyone just ignore him when he goes on rants, and let him say what he wishes. (And in response to your claim that I “can’t think of a response” is the reason that I don’t always reply to your posts, bigpuma, It’s that I have better things to do with my time than visit this page more often than a twice a day)

If I have to explain that, well, let’s just say good night.

And this is exactly why the board needs an ignore user feature :)
