Kombucha is apparently an acquired taste. I kind of like it, but not as much as I like lemonade or even non-city water… and sure not as much as I like having the money it costs.

I just have to say I admire the dandelions in the middle panel.

I keep telling people, if you drink too much decaf, you’ll dream about having insomnia.

I find that I prefer plain water as a drink, except for once in the morning and once in the evening, when I like a cup of tea!

She’s a girl. Most boys think you drink pop in order to make loud burps. And they don’t care if it’s diet or regular.

Kombucha – another taste I’ll never acquire, along with anchovy, any Starbucks coffee, jalapeno dip, broccoli and cheese soup, and anything that has 8 legs when living.

Diet Pop is not the same comparison. You drink coffee for caffeine. You drink beer for the alcohol. You drink pop for the pop.

Kombucha was invented so that there would be something that tastes worse than Lite beer. And for me all of the alternatives to sugar have a terrible after-taste. Luckily, I like water, which pairs well with both fish and beef. Sometimes when I’m feeling really adventurous I add a tablespoon of vinegar (any kind but white, which is nasty) to a glass of ice water. Ahhhh.

This arc is silly. The only drinks that aren’t “messed with” are water, fresh squeezed juice, and milk. And if the milk is from a store it’s been pasteurized (messed with). I don’t understand why Jef is picking on some processes and letting others go.

Sorry, wrong. If you don’t want to drink your calories, you have two choices – water or diet flavored drinks of some sort. Juice and milk are about 100 calories per glass. Nothing against water, I drink it plenty, but if you want flavor, then diet soda is the way to go.

    Yeast and bacteria. Sourdough starter?

Oh wait. Real sourdough doesn’t have yeast.

Best drink of water I ever had in my life: runoff from spring thaw on Mount Shasta. (Didn’t stop to wonder if it was safe; maybe should have. Nevertheless! Best. Water. Ever.
