Our hospital has a door like that. Never understood why they put one except for being high tech. They’re less functionnal than regular automatic doors. Ever tried to get passed one of these with a wheelchair?
They seem to have done away with them. When I was little they were everywhere but I haven’t seen one in years.
our hospitals here have those large ones too, if you get too close to the front or back though it will stop automatically
