    No, you diet nuts have it wrong, he’s just implying that Fred’s a big boned dog. I had a Norwegian Elkhound that weighed 85 pounds and he wasn’t fat either. He was just a big boned solid dog for his breed.

    You’re right! I was going to say that too. :) I think Fred’s dad thinks the vet is implying that he’s fat too…The fading smile….My vet will just come out and say it! ;)

    Fred looks just fine. Not chubby, mot fat, not overweight, just handsome and loveable

    I’m not sure about that, puppybreath. I saw a basset hound walking by the other day and he looked a lot better & leaner than Fred does.
