My dogs are smarter and healthier than the pure breeds at the dog shows. They are also better loved.
I have had this happen to me in the ring! I had to laugh out loud. My friends were watching outside and calling, “Whoaaaaaaaaa!” to no avail!

He wins the cup in my mind for best loved Basset and anything else offered!
That’ll teach him to take Fred to an obedience show!!! Hunting dogs are supposed to have brains enough to find game, that you can’t find, on their own, NOT be timid obedience dogs waiting for their ‘master’ to tell them every move they can make!!!
