Oh, YES! I know that guilt-inducing, big-eyed, hopeful little tail-wag when we’ve forgotten or come home late. Of course, if we’re at home there is no such thing as forgetting. There are two of them and they double-team us.
I quit serving food in bowls years ago. the open bag is there 24/7 . just dry food, kinda boring. nobody over eats. My dogs know when they’re hungry and how much they want to eat. They eat every bit if it’s in a bowl but from a 40 lb bag they don’t have the compulsion to finish it off.
