Our most recent little guy likes to play with us with his mouth open; we were correcting him with a “no teeth” command. Then I saw one of those “animals being animals” things on the big screen at McD’s, and here were a mother and her pup playing just like that — mouths open, no contact, just romping and being dogs with each other. So now, no more “no teeth” commands to our good little guy who is actually very careful when he plays with us.

When I played fighting with my dog, my mother’s dog went nuts trying to protect me. My dog was her puppy.
