Giving a new meaning to “living on the edge”

You might be warmer, Fred, but the shallows are where lots of things live…and feed.

I remember sticking my toes in on Cape Cod once. They immediately froze. That was it for me! So somehow…I don’t blame Fred (or the Dears)!

You can’t go too far anyway, Fred, with those short legs.

Unless you’re a very strong swimmer, staying in the shallows is safer.
