Bill Clinton has long been condemended (by folks who cared on the Dem side as well) for lousy behavior with consenting adults, with less consenting claims never substantiated,(Nolo contendre is NOT a LEGAL admission of any guilt btw, even if a cash settlement is involved) but yes, serious transgressions. Bill wasn’t out bragging about his conquests in public, to support a reputation as “rich stud” though. Love the tiny, accurate, hands in the toons for Trump.
Trump uses the language of a misogynist, sexist man devoid of respect for women — words that describe him perfectly. Far more troubling is the fact that he appears to have acted in accordance with his words — even while belatedly denying he did so. Now a flood of women are coming forth with accounts of being groped and stalked by Trump — on an airplane, in his office building, at Mar-a-Lago, during a 2003 concert and at Mar-a-Lago again in 2005 while his pregnant wife was in another room. Trump frequently says politicians should be judged by what they do, not by what they say. I agree, Donald. Your actions are reprehensible.
Remembering back to Gary Hart and Reagan. I thought then I’d rather have someone who could love carelessly, than kill without caring. (Iran/Contra and more).
Bill Clinton cheated, yes, but didn’t brag about it, or divorce his wife, like Newt, Trump, and some other “conservative values” heroes. He also didn’t start any wars, and left the economy in good shape after inheriting a mess from “Poppy Bush”, jus like Obama inherited a mess from “W” and the crew.
Trump brags about his conquests, AND declares cavalierly that he will start MORE WARS without caring at ALL about human dignity, OR life, just as he’s done with his business deals, for decades.
It IS about caring, and Donald doesn’t. I don’t like Hillary that much, but her career DOES show she’s cared, from her college days, as a lawyer, First Lady, Senator, and yes, Secretary of State.
She may not be the charmer her husband is, but she’s imminently qualified to handle challenges, personal, public, and professional. Trump is none of that.
Steve your body of work over the last 12 months has been simply superb. Apart from you exceptional rendering skills the quality and layering in your ideas is a stand out. This one is Pulitzer worthy.
