I concur with Dogsniff – I’ve been on juries but did not consider myself a peer of the ones on trial. And, although I took it seriously, I really didn’t care one way or the other. A professional jury would want to be there and maybe care more.
“Surely they can find a few idiots to be your peer.” I’m sure they would have no trouble finding more than the thirteen idiots needed for my jury, but you seem to be an idiot without peer.

Well, until the system does change, I have to say that I, too, concur with juror no. 7……………and, who wouldn’t?
(PS: I like your idea. I’m sick and tired of being called for jury duty all the time.)

I get called every two years, spend the day doing nothing, never get selected, get ten dollars. I think it is done on purpose.
