    If you really want to give him hope, immigrate to a mature country, where they actually believe in educating their young. Try Finland.

    Send him to trade school. Just learned there will be a real shortage of skilled workmen in the U.S. because of the emphasis on going to college.

    I know a guy who always wanted to go to dental school, but had no money. When he graduated from h.s. he trained to be a bartender. Worked hard and saved up all his tips and went to barber school. Cut hair during the day, tended bar at night and weekends, and saved. Put himself through dental school. He’s a very successful and prosperous dental surgeon now.
